Jennifer Cornet is an author and engineer known for her urban fantasy series, "Elements of Ink". Her debut novel, "Order of Earth", was published in 2013, followed by its sequel, "Order of Fire", in 2015. She also released a companion prequel, "Journey to the Order", expanding the series' mythology. Cornet's short fiction has appeared in literary magazines such as "PaperTape", "Nebula Rift", and "Quailbell".
Born in Florida and raised in Northern Virginia, Cornet holds a bachelor's degree in Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech. She works as a civil servant for the U.S. Navy, designing DDG51 Destroyers. Her creative pursuits extend beyond writing - she enjoys painting, sewing, and gardening. Cornet lives in Springfield, Virginia, with her husband and twin children. She is currently developing a new series of novellas separate from the "Elements of Ink" universe.
