Jennifer Lauck

Jennifer Lauck is an internationally bestselling author known for her memoirs, including "Blackbird," "Still Waters," "Show Me the Way," and "Found," which chronicle her deeply personal journey of self-discovery. Her final memoir, "Found," published by Seal Press, concludes a fifteen-year exploration of identity, culminating in her reunion with her birth mother. Lauck's work has resonated with readers worldwide, earning critical acclaim for its raw honesty and emotional depth.

Before turning to memoir writing, Lauck began her career as an investigative journalist, working in Montana, Washington, and Oregon after studying journalism in college. Her transition from journalism to memoir allowed her to delve into themes of identity, loss, and healing, crafting narratives that blend introspection with compelling storytelling. Currently, she teaches at The Blackbird Studio for Writers and contributes essays on topics such as motherhood, spirituality, and personal growth.
