Jennifer Powell McNutt

Jennifer Powell McNutt is an award-winning scholar, author, and professor specializing in Reformation studies, theology, and the history of Christianity. She holds the Franklin S. Dyrness Chair of Biblical and Theological Studies at Wheaton College and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Her acclaimed monograph, "Calvin Meets Voltaire" (2014), earned her the Sidney E. Mead Prize and the Frank S. and Elizabeth D. Brewer Prize from the American Society of Church History. Her forthcoming works include "The Mary We Forgot" (2024), "Know the Theologians" (2024), and the co-edited "Oxford Handbook of the Bible and the Reformation" (2024).

McNutt's research focuses on the Reformation, John Calvin, Reformed tradition, and the history of biblical interpretation.
