Jente Posthuma

Jente Posthuma is a Dutch writer and freelance journalist whose work spans fiction and nonfiction. She gained recognition for her short stories, which have appeared in publications such as De Revisor, Das Magazin, Torpedo Magazine, and nrc.next. In 2012, she received the A.L. Snijdersprijs for the best very short story. Her debut novel, "Mensen zonder uitstraling," was published in 2016 by Atlas Contact.

Posthuma has contributed to prominent Dutch media outlets, including De Groene Amsterdammer, nrc.next, de Volkskrant, and Mister Motley. Her literary career extends beyond writing, as she has collaborated with authors such as A.L. Snijders, Tommy Wieringa, Carel Helder, and Elsje de Wijn in theatrical performances at De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam. Based in Amsterdam, she continues to explore themes of human connection and identity in her work.
