Based in Northern California and Ubud, Bali, he is recognized as a leading authority on the human shadow and has pioneered innovative approaches to breathwork and personal transformation. His acclaimed works include the bestseller "Meeting the Shadow: The Hidden Power of the Dark Side of Human Nature," "The Shadow in America," and "Reclaiming the Inner Child."
