Jerri Chisholm

Jerri Chisholm is a young adult (YA) author who is best known for her debut novel, "Escaping Eleven." She spent a significant portion of her childhood in solitude, accompanied only by her pet parrot and her vivid imagination. After completing her bachelor's degree, Chisholm decided to further her education by obtaining a master's degree in public policy. She then went on to attend law school and became an attorney. However, she did not stay in the legal profession for long, as she was drawn to the creative world of writing and wanted to focus on it exclusively.

Chisholm is not only a writer but also a distance runner and a chocolate enthusiast. She has three children and is married, but her pet parrot is no longer with her. Growing up, Chisholm's solitary childhood allowed her to develop her imagination and creativity, which she now uses to craft compelling stories for young adults. Her debut novel, "Escaping Eleven," was published in 2020, showcasing her writing skills and storytelling abilities. Despite leaving the legal profession, Chisholm's background in public policy and law has likely given her a unique perspective and insight that she brings to her writing.
