Jessie Thomas

Jessie Thomas is an indie author from Buffalo, New York, specializing in young adult and new adult fiction. Her works span historical fantasy, urban fantasy, and paranormal romance, often featuring atmospheric settings and dark themes. A history enthusiast, she blends her passion for the past with imaginative storytelling. Thomas's screenplay "Post Mortem" earned recognition when it was nominated for the Michael Collyer Fellowship Award in Screenwriting from the Writer’s Guild of America, East.

Before pursuing writing full-time, Thomas studied Television and Film Arts at SUNY Buffalo State, where she honed her narrative skills. Her storytelling reflects a cinematic influence, with vivid world-building and complex character dynamics. When not writing, she enjoys analyzing television shows, discussing fictional characters, and indulging in ice cream. Thomas shares her home with a snaggle-toothed cat named Graham, who often keeps her company during creative sessions.
