Jiaming Tang

Jiaming Tang is a queer immigrant writer and editor whose work spans fiction and nonfiction. His debut book, "Cinema Love," explores themes of identity, migration, and belonging, drawing from his own experiences. Tang's short stories and essays have appeared in prominent literary journals such as AGNI, Lit Hub, and Joyland Magazine, showcasing his nuanced storytelling and keen observational voice.

An MFA graduate from the University of Alabama, Tang has held editorial roles, including serving as nonfiction editor at Black Warrior Review. His literary contributions have been recognized through fellowships such as The Center for Fiction's Emerging Writer Fellowship. In 2023, he further solidified his presence in the literary community as a judge for the Restless Books Nonfiction Prize for New Immigrant Writing. Based in Brooklyn, Tang continues to craft narratives that resonate with themes of displacement and queer identity.
