Jill Gregory is a bestselling author who has written at least thirty contemporary and historical novels. She was raised in Chicago and pursued her love for literature by attending the University of Illinois. There, she earned a bachelor of arts degree with a focus on English. Her passion for reading from a young age naturally led her to a career as a fiction author.
As a successful writer, Gregory has received numerous accolades for her work. She is a New York Times and USA Today best-selling author, as well as a recipient of the Romantic Times Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence. Two of her novels, NEVER LOVE A COWBOY and COLD NIGHT, WARM STRANGER, were honored with back-to-back Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice awards for Best Western Historical Romance. Her novels have been translated and published in various countries, including Japan, Russia, Norway, France, Taiwan, Sweden, Italy, and Germany.
In addition to her romance novels, Gregory has also co-written thrillers with her best friend, Karen Tintori. Their suspense novel, SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE, was adapted into a CBS TV movie of the week and excerpted in Cosmopolitan Magazine. Gregory's books have been translated and published in more than 24 languages, showcasing her global appeal.
Currently, Gregory resides in Michigan with her husband. She continues to write and cherish her family, friends, books, dogs, kindness to animals, and the occasional hot fudge sundae. Some of her recent works include BLACKBIRD LAKE, the third novel in her Lonesome Way series of contemporary romances, and AND THEN THERE WAS YOU, an original novella in the Masters of Seduction anthology. Readers can find several of her earlier, best-selling books as Kindle ebooks, such as DAISIES IN THE WIND, CHERISHED, COLD NIGHT, WARM STRANGER, WHEN THE HEART BECKONS, and JUST THIS ONCE.
