Jodie Bailey

Jodie Bailey is a USA Today best-selling author, known for her novels about freedom and the heroes who fight for it. Bailey has a unique perspective on her subjects, having grown up in Eastern North Carolina and married a soldier who rides a Harley and jumps out of airplanes for fun. These experiences have informed her writing, leading to stories that reflect the realities of military life.

Bailey is not only a talented writer but also a public speaker and teacher. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience with others, and her novels are packed with the insights she has gained as an Army wife. In addition to her work as an author, Bailey has also pursued a career in teaching, spending ten years in the classroom before becoming a full-time writer.

When she's not at her keyboard, Bailey is a former middle school literature teacher and yearbook adviser who enjoys spending time with her family. She is convinced that a camping trip to the beach, a good cup of coffee, and a great book can cure all ills. Bailey is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and has had her devotions appear in several publications, including Fighting Fear: Winning the War at Home and Sweet Freedom with a Slice of Peach Cobbler. She has also contributed to PWOC International’s e100 Bible study for military wives.

Bailey's published works include Quilted by Christmas, as well as two suspense novels, Freefall and Crossfire. She has also written a novella in Holiday Defenders. Bailey lives in North Carolina with her husband, her daughter, and a very stubborn pup. Her experiences as a military wife, teacher, and literature enthusiast have all come together to inform her writing, making her a powerful voice in the world of contemporary fiction.
