Joe Weber is a highly respected American author, known for his military thriller novels. He is particularly famous for writing the Scott Dalton and Jackie Sullivan novel series. Weber is a former fighter pilot, which gives him a unique insight into the world of military thrillers. He has served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1970-1975 and has completed over 10,500 hours of flight time in 43 different aircraft. Weber obtained his M.S. in Aviation Management and has used his extensive military experience to write accurately detailed and action-packed novels.
Weber began flying commercially after completing his service in the Marine Corps and settled down as a full-time writer in 1989. His first novel, Defcon One, was published in the same year. His novels have appeared on the best-seller lists of the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, the Associated Press, and the Chicago Tribune.
