John Zada

John Zada is a Toronto-based author, journalist, and photographer whose work explores adventure travel, remote regions, and cultural narratives. His debut book, "In the Valleys of the Noble Beyond: In Search of the Sasquatch," was named one of Amazon's 100 Best Books of 2019 and was shortlisted for the 2020 Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction. Praised for its eloquence and depth, the book has been described by The Washington Post as "a quirky and oddly captivating tale," while Open Letters Monthly likened its emotional resonance to Peter Matthiessen’s "The Snow Leopard."
