Joshua Doder

Joshua Doder is a well-known English author who was born in London in 1968. He is perhaps best known for his work under the pen name Joshua Doder, which he uses to write the highly successful Grk series. Prior to writing under the name Joshua Doder, he wrote several standalone novels under his original name, Joshua Lacey. These novels were primarily aimed at children, with the exception of one young adult novel. In addition to his work as a children's author, Doder has also written a biography titled "God is Brazilian" about Charles Miller, the man who introduced football to Brazil.

Before becoming a full-time author, Doder worked a variety of jobs including librarian, chef, and actor. He has also reviewed books for a major newspaper under his pen name. Doder is a London native and has lived in the city for most of his life.
