Joshua Hood is a highly respected American author, best known for his thriller novels. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and attended the University of Memphis, where he graduated before pursuing a career in the military. Hood served in the 82nd Airborne Division for five years, conducting combat operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition to his military service, Hood has also spent nine years as a member of a SWAT team in Memphis, Tennessee.
