Joy Ohagwu is a bestselling Christian author, well-known for her contemporary Christian romance suspense novels. Her work is full of heartwarming narratives, divine inspiration, suspense, and happy endings. Ohagwu is most famous for the "New Rulebook" series of novels, which was initially intended to be a trilogy but has since grown to include more than three titles. In addition to this series, she has written several other series and standalone novels, including the "Pleasant Heart' series and the 'After' series, which is a Christian Inspirational series.
Ohagwu was born in Nigeria and earned a Master's Degree in International Affairs from American University in Washington D.C. and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. She has been honored with multiple awards for her academic achievements and has been recognized for her pioneer academic research, student leadership, and overall excellence. Ohagwu is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) organization. She writes her stories during evenings, weekends, and whenever she has free time, and has penned numerous titles, including "The New Rulebook 1," "The New Rulebook 2," "The New Rulebook 3," "Uncommon Ground," "After," and "After 2."
Ohagwu credits Jesus with turning her life around and for helping her avoid multiple derailments. She is grateful for His grace, which has allowed her to commit her life to public service, confront rough waters, and help those who are less fortunate.
