Jude Ellison S. Doyle

Jude Ellison S. Doyle is an author, journalist, and comic book writer known for his incisive feminist commentary and genre-spanning work. His acclaimed nonfiction books include "Trainwreck: The Women We Love to Hate, Mock, and Fear... and Why" (2016), praised by The New York Times Book Review as "compelling" and "persuasive," and "Dead Blondes and Bad Mothers: Monstrosity, Patriarchy and the Fear of Female Power" (2019), which was named a Best Nonfiction Book of 2019 by Kirkus Reviews. His upcoming book, "DILF: Did I Leave Feminism," is slated for publication in 2025.

Doyle has also made significant contributions to the comic book industry with his horror and speculative fiction collaborations. His debut limited series, "Maw" (2021), illustrated by A.L. Kaplan, was followed by "The Neighbors" (2023), which earned a GLAAD Award nomination for Outstanding Comic. Both series are available in collected editions, and his third project, "Be Not Afraid," illustrated by Lisandro Estherren, is forthcoming. Previously, Doyle founded the feminist blog Tiger Beatdown under the pen name Sady Doyle, establishing himself as a bold voice in cultural criticism.
