Julia Heaberlin

Julia Heaberlin is a highly acclaimed thriller author, best known for her intriguing and thought-provoking novels. Originally from the small town of Decatur, Texas, Heaberlin developed a love for reading at a young age. During the summer months, she would often visit her friend's mother's library and load up on Harlequin romance books to read over the weekend. This early exposure to literature sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling and set the stage for her successful career as an author.

Heaberlin has written six thrillers, including the internationally bestselling novel "WE ARE ALL THE SAME IN THE DARK" and the #1 Audible bestseller "Black-Eyed Susans." Her work has been published in more than fifteen countries and has received numerous accolades. "Black-Eyed Susans," for example, was a top five Times of London bestseller and was shortlisted for Best Novel by the International Thriller Writers Awards. Her latest thriller, "NIGHT WILL FIND YOU," follows an astrophysicist and reluctant psychic as they explore the controversial case of a lost girl.

Before becoming a full-time author, Heaberlin worked as an award-winning editor at several newspapers, including the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Detroit News, and The Dallas Morning News. This experience helped her hone her writing skills and develop a keen eye for detail. Today, Heaberlin continues to push the boundaries of the thriller genre with her unique storytelling and thought-provoking themes. She is currently working on her seventh novel and resides in Texas, where all of her novels are set under its big and sometimes creepy sky.
