Julianne Holmes is a well-known author who writes under the pen name of Julie Hennrikus. She is an American writer who has made a name for herself in the cozy mystery genre. One of her most popular series is the Clock Shop Mysteries, which is published by Berkley Prime Crime. This series features Ruth Clagan, a clockmaker who moves back to the Berkshires to run her grandfather's shop. Ruth not only fixes clocks but also finds herself fixing problems in the town.
Holmes has been writing for over two decades, and her love for writing started many years ago. She made a promise to herself that she would become a full-time writer when the time was right. In the meantime, she took writing workshops, joined Sisters in Crime, and attended Crime Bake each year. It was at Crime Bake that she met people who shared her interests and had the opportunity to pitch her work to new readers and publishers. Although she wrote great stories, she found herself drawn to crime fiction, a genre that she enjoyed reading. Eventually, she started writing crime fiction, and her first novel was published.
