Julie Janson

Julie is a Burruberongal woman of the Darug Aboriginal Nation and an accomplished poet whose work has garnered significant recognition. She is the co-recipient of the Oodgeroo Noonuccal Poetry Prize in 2016 and won the prestigious Judith Wright Poetry Prize in 2019. Her writing explores themes of Indigenous identity, connection to Country, and cultural resilience.
