Julie N. Ford

Julie N. Ford is an accomplished American author, best known for her work in women's fiction. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Diego State University. Following her undergraduate studies, Julie pursued a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama, which has enabled her to gain a deeper understanding of the complex and often codependent relationship she has with writing.

In addition to her academic achievements, Julie has had a diverse professional career. She has worked as a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Instructor, small business owner and manager, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her experiences in these fields have undoubtedly provided her with a wealth of knowledge and insight, which she draws upon in her writing. Julie has authored six women’s fiction novels, including the 2011 Whitney Award finalist, Count Down to Love.

Julie has lived in various parts of the United States, including Texas, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and Southern Utah. In December 2020, she relocated with her husband and Scottish Fold cat to the enchanting state of Oregon. She is known to enjoy gardening and beekeeping, although she admits to entertaining delusions of mastery in these areas. Julie is passionate about connecting with her readers and can be reached through her website or blog.
