Jussi Adler-Olsen

Jussi Adler-Olsen is a renowned Danish author, particularly known for his Department Q series in the realm of Scandinavian crime fiction. His novels have achieved international success, reaching 36 countries around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Spain, Russia, The Netherlands, Japan, Germany, and China. In 2011, he was the most popular author in Germany, despite not being German.

Adler-Olsen's journey to becoming a successful author was not linear; he explored various fields before finding his calling in literature. After studying a variety of subjects and working numerous jobs, Adler-Olsen eventually began writing novels in the 1990s.
