K.M. Jackson, also known as Kwana Jackson, is a native New Yorker who had two dreams for her future. She wanted to be a fashion designer and a writer. She spent her formative years riding the A train and dreaming of a career in fashion design and writing.
After spending more than a decade working in the fashion industry, Kwana decided to pursue her other dream of becoming a writer. She took a "leap of faith" and began writing, eventually becoming a USA Today bestselling author. Kwana is a strong advocate for diversity and equality in romance literature, as evidenced by her support for the #WeNeedDiverseRomance movement.
Kwana is also a mother to twins and currently resides in a suburb of New York with her husband. When she is not writing, she can be found on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, where she goes by the handle @kwanawrites and facebook.com/KmJacksonAuthor respectively. She also has a website, www.kmjackson.com, where fans can learn more about her and her work.
