Karen Hamilton is a successful British author, best known for her thriller novels. She grew up traveling the world with her family, living in countries such as Italy, Angola, Belgium, and Zimbabwe. This early exposure to different cultures and ways of life sparked her love for travel, which would later become a significant theme in her writing. As a child, Hamilton dreamed of becoming a flight attendant and an author, and she would eventually fulfill both of those dreams.
After attending and graduating from the Faber Academy, Hamilton published her debut novel, "The Perfect Girlfriend," in 2018. The novel became a bestseller on the Sunday Times Top Ten list, establishing Hamilton as a force to be reckoned with in the thriller genre. She followed up this success with the publication of her second novel, "The Last Wife," in 2020.
In addition to her love of travel and writing, Hamilton is also a devoted mother and wife. She currently lives in Hampshire, UK with her husband and children. Prior to settling down and focusing on her writing, Hamilton worked as a flight attendant for many years, a job that allowed her to continue satisfying her wanderlust. In 2009, she made the decision to become a writer and has been successful in her endeavors ever since.
