Kate Frost is a general fiction and romance fiction author from the United Kingdom. She has always had a passion for writing, having written her first novel during the long months she spent off school following open heart surgery when she was seven. Kate has a MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University and has had articles and short stories published in various magazines. She has worked in a variety of industries including cinema, bookshops, factories, and as a part-time lecturer at Bath Spa University. Kate has also worked as ground staff at Edgebaston Tennis Tournament, as a Virgin Vie consultant, and as a Supporting Artist in several films and TV productions.
Kate Frost is the author of several romantic escape novels, including bestsellers The Greek Heart, The Baobab Beach Retreat, and The Amsterdam Affair. She is also the author of the One Greek Summer, An Italian Dream, An Island in the Sun, and One Winter's Night, all published by Boldwood. Her novels are known for their uplifting, heartwarming stories of love, romance, hope, new beginnings, and second chances, set in beautiful locations around the world. Kate also writes character-driven women's fiction, including The Butterfly Storm series, and a middle-grade time travel adventure trilogy, Time Shifters.
In addition to her writing, Kate is the Director of Storytale Festival, a book festival for children and teens that she co-founded in Bristol in 2019. She has a MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University where she also taught lifewriting to Creative Writing undergraduates. Kate is currently based in the UK with her husband and son, where she spends her days writing and immersing herself in books.
