Kate White is a successful American author, known for her mystery and thriller novels. She was born on September 3, 1951, in Glens Falla, New York, and began her career in the magazine industry after winning a contest hosted by Glamour magazine. Following her graduation from Union College in 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Kate appeared on the cover of Glamour and was offered a position as an assistant editor at the magazine.
