Katherine Faulkner

Katherine Faulkner is a distinguished author and journalist based in London. She pursued her undergraduate studies in History at Cambridge University, graduating with a First-class degree. After completing her history degree, Faulkner went on to finish a Postgraduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism.

Over the years, Faulkner has gained significant experience as an investigative reporter and editor, having her work published in various national papers. Most recently, she worked at The Times as the joint Head of News. Faulkner's exceptional work as an undercover reporter has earned her several accolades, including winning the Cudlipp Award for public interest journalism and being nominated for a string of other awards. Furthermore, she was commended by a committee of MPs for her commitment to the highest standards of ethical investigative reporting.

Faulkner's debut novel, which explores the complexity of female friendships, was inspired by her personal experience attending NCT classes while pregnant. These classes provided her with a unique experience of sudden intimacy with complete strangers. Faulkner currently resides in Hackney, East London, where she grew up, with her husband and two daughters.
