Katie Finn

Katie Finn is a pseudonym for Morgan Catherine Matson, a New York Times bestselling author of literary fiction novels. She was born in New York and spent a brief period in New York City before her family moved to Greenwich, Connecticut. Finn did not find the small town appealing and was eager to leave as soon as she could. As a high school student, she was passionate about theater and creative pursuits, but never considered becoming a writer as a career path. However, many of her high school experiences have found their way into her novels, demonstrating that the dots often do connect in life.

Finn currently resides in Los Angeles, California, in a location that is not far from the beach. She enjoys spending her time walking her pet dog, Kenneth, in the area. Although Finn grew up in Connecticut in a town that resembles Putnam, she never imagined that she would become a writer. However, many of her high school misadventures have made it into her books, which is a testament to the fact that one never knows what the future holds. Despite not living as close to the beach as she would like, Finn appears to be content with her life in Los Angeles.
