Katie Williams is a bestselling author, particularly known for her work in the young adult and science fiction genres. She has written several novels, including "Tell the Machine Goodnight," as well as "The Space Between Trees" and "Absent." Williams was born and raised in mid-Michigan and pursued her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She later went on to earn her MFA in creative writing from the prestigious Michener Center at the University of Texas at Austin.
