Kay Bratt

Kay Bratt is a prolific American author, best known for her bestselling novels in the women's fiction and historical fiction genres. Her books have been read worldwide, as they have been translated into multiple languages, including German, Korean, Chinese, Czechoslovakian, and Estonian. Bratt's writing is renowned for delivering an emotional punch, wrapped in gripping storylines. Her Hart's Ridge small-town mystery series, in particular, has earned her the title of Amazon All Star Author and continues to be one of her most successful projects.

Bratt's writing journey has been shaped by her personal experiences, having used writing as a tool to navigate a tumultuous childhood and a decade of abuse as an adult. After working her way through the hard years, Bratt emerged a survivor and found the courage to share her stories. Her writing is inspired by her passion for advocating for children and animals, having worked extensively in a Chinese orphanage and supported several nonprofit organizations that support children in China. In the USA, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children in Georgia, as well as spearheaded numerous outreach programs for underprivileged children in the South Carolina area. Currently, Bratt focuses her efforts on animal rescue and is the Director of Advocacy for Yorkie Rescue of the Carolinas.

Beyond her writing and advocacy work, Bratt is a wanderer at heart, having lived in nearly three dozen different homes on two continents and in states from coast to coast in the USA. She has traveled to captivating destinations across Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, China, the Philippines, Central America, the Bahamas, and Australia. Despite her extensive travels, Bratt currently resides in South Carolina with her husband, daughter, and pets. She is known for being southern, spicy, and a little sassy, and loves to share her life's antics with the Bratt Pack on social media. Bratt's published works can be explored on her website, and fans can sign up for her monthly email newsletter to never miss a new release or the latest Bratt Pack drama.
