Ken Kuhlken is an American author, born in San Diego, California, who has made a name for himself in the world of fiction. He is well-known for his original series featuring the Hickey family, which has captured the attention of readers through a series of adventures. Kuhlken's talent for storytelling has been recognized by prestigious publications, with his stories appearing in Esquire and other magazines, as well as being honored in Best American Short Stories. His work has also earned him a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
In addition to the Hickey family mystery series, Kuhlken has written several standalone novels. His novel, Midheaven, was a finalist for the Ernest Hemingway Award for best first fiction book. He is also known to cook, attempt to grow vegetables, and fix broken things around the house.
