Ken Liu

Ken Liu is a highly acclaimed author in the realm of speculative fiction, with an impressive list of awards to his name including the Nebula, Hugo, and World Fantasy awards, as well as top genre honors in several other countries such as Japan, Spain, and France. His works have been translated into more than a dozen languages, showcasing his global appeal. Liu is best known for his "The Dandelion Dynasty" series, which he has dubbed as silkpunk epic fantasy, starting with "The Grace of Kings."

Before becoming a bestselling author, Liu made a name for himself through his short fiction, particularly with "The Paper Menagerie and Other Stories." He has also contributed to the "Star Wars" series, authoring "The Legends of Luke Skywalker." His popular works have led to adaptations in various media. For instance, he has been involved in the development of the adult animated series "Love, Death + Robots" on Netflix, and the TV series "Pantheon" on AMC, both based on his short stories. Furthermore, "The Grace of Kings" and "Hidden Girl" are set to be adapted into TV series.

In addition to his work as an author, Liu is a skilled translator, having translated several works of Chinese science fiction into English.
