Ken Wilber is an American philosopher and author renowned for his development of integral theory, a comprehensive framework that synthesizes knowledge from spirituality, science, and philosophy. His influential works, including "The Spectrum of Consciousness" and "A Brief History of Everything," have established him as a leading voice in transpersonal psychology and consciousness studies. With over 25 books translated into nearly 30 languages, Wilber is among the most widely translated academic writers in the United States.
Often described as the "Einstein of consciousness studies," Wilber's writings explore the integral stage of human development, bridging diverse disciplines to address contemporary global challenges. He founded the Integral Institute, an organization dedicated to advancing his theories through collaboration with scholars across fields such as education, politics, and medicine. In 2007, he co-founded Integral Life, a platform aimed at disseminating integral thought worldwide. Wilber continues to contribute to philosophical discourse, most recently as part of the Center for World Philosophy and Religion under the collective pseudonym David J. Temple. Based in Denver, Colorado, he remains active as a philosopher, author, and teacher, with his major publications still in print.
