Kendra Elliot is a successful author of romantic suspense novels. Born in the Pacific Northwest, she worked in dentistry for sixteen years before deciding to pursue her passion for writing full-time. Growing up, she was an avid reader of Laura Ingalls Wilder, Nancy Drew, and Trixie Belden novels, which sparked her interest in mystery and suspense.
Elliot is well-known for her thrilling and romantic suspense novels, which include the Bone Secrets series, the Callahan & McLane series, the Mercy Kilpatrick series, and the Widow's Island series. She has sold over 12 million books and has been on the Wall Street Journal bestseller list more than a dozen times. Her writing has also earned her recognition as an International Thriller Writers finalist, a three-time Daphne Du Maurier winner, and a Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice finalist.
In addition to her successful solo career, Elliot also collaborates with fellow author Melinda Leigh on the Widow's Island and Rogue River novellas. She is fascinated by forensics and enjoys reading authors such as Lee Child, Karen Rose, Robert Crais, and Tami Hoag. Despite her success, Elliot remains true to her roots and still resides in the Pacific Northwest with her family and two cats, although she dreams of living every day in flip flops and watching the sunrise over the ocean.
