Kerry Reichs is a successful American author, particularly known for her women's fiction novels. She was born in the United States and graduated from Oberlin College and Duke University School of Law. After completing her education, Reichs practiced law in Washington, D.C., but eventually decided to pursue a career in writing full-time. She now splits her time between D.C. and Los Angeles, where she lives with her two cats.
In addition to her writing, Reichs is also a lawyer by profession, and she brings her legal expertise to her fiction. She is best known for her contemporary, chick-lit, women's fiction, and romance stories. Her first two books, "The Best Day of Someone Else's Life" and "The Good Luck Girl," were well-received by readers and critics alike. Her most recent book, "What You Wish For," continues to showcase her talent for storytelling.
Reichs comes from a family of writers. She is the daughter of Kathy Reichs, a popular American author and forensic anthropologist. Her brother, Brendan Reichs, is also an established writer. Despite coming from a family of successful authors, Kerry Reichs has carved out her own niche in the literary world with her unique voice and engaging stories.
In addition to her writing, Reichs is also an alumna of the School of Law and the Institute of Public Policy at Duke University. She practiced law in Washington, D.C. for several years before taking a sabbatical and discovering her love for writing. Reichs has never married and has never worn any of the twelve wedding dresses from the weddings she has been in. Her first novel, "The Best Day of Someone Else's Life," was inspired by her experiences as a bridesmaid.
