Kevin J. Anderson

Kevin J. Anderson is a bestselling American author, well-known for his science fiction and fantasy novels. He was born on March 27, 1962, in Racine, Wisconsin, and spent his childhood in a small town south of Madison called Oregon, Wisconsin. Growing up in a place that he describes as a mix between a Ray Bradbury short story and a Norman Rockwell painting, he developed a love for storytelling that would shape his future career.

Anderson has written over 175 books, including 59 national or international bestsellers, with more than 24 million copies in print worldwide in thirty languages. His work has been nominated for several prestigious awards, such as the Nebula Award, Hugo Award, Bram Stoker Award, Shamus Award, and Silver Falchion Award. In 2012, he received the Faust Grand Master Award for Lifetime Achievement at San Diego Comic Con.

Throughout his career, Anderson has contributed to popular franchises, including Star Wars, StarCraft, Titan A.E., and The X-Files, as well as writing spin-off novels for these series. He is also the co-author of the Dune prequels with Brian Herbert. Among his original works, Anderson is best known for his Saga of Seven Suns series, the Terra Incognita trilogy, the Dan Shamble, Zombie PI series, and Clockwork Angels and Clockwork Lives, written with Neil Peart.

In addition to his writing, Anderson and his wife, author Rebecca Moesta, are the publishers of WordFire Press. He currently resides near Monument, Colorado, with Moesta.
