Kevin O'Brien is an accomplished American author, well-known for his thriller and suspense novels. Born in Chicago, he studied Journalism at Marquette University in Milwaukee. After graduation, he found work as a railroad inspector, but his true passion lay in writing. While maintaining his day job, he dedicated his nights to crafting stories that would eventually catapult him to literary success.
O'Brien's journey to becoming a full-time writer was influenced by renowned author Terry Brooks, who advised him not to quit his day job until he could sustain himself on his writing income for at least two years. O'Brien took this advice to heart and continued to balance his career as a railroad inspector with his writing aspirations. His perseverance and dedication to his craft ultimately paid off, establishing him as a significant voice in the thriller and suspense genres. Today, he resides in Seattle, Washington, where he continues to write captivating novels that keep readers on the edge of their seats.
