Kevin Wilson

Kevin Wilson is a highly acclaimed author, best known for his unique and captivating storytelling. Born and raised in Sewanee, Tennessee, Wilson is a graduate of the University of Florida's MFA program. His writing has been widely recognized, earning him fellowships from prestigious institutions such as the MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, and the KHN Center for the Arts.

Wilson has published several collections of short stories and novels, including Tunneling to the Center of the Earth, Baby You’re Gonna Be Mine, The Family Fang, Perfect Little World, and Nothing to See Here. His work has been featured in esteemed publications such as Ploughshares, Southern Review, One Story, A Public Space, Best American Short Stories 2020 and 2021, and The PEN/O. Henry Prize Stories 2012. In 2019, his novel Nothing to See Here became a New York Times bestseller and a Read with Jenna book club selection.

In addition to his successful writing career, Wilson is also an Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of the South, where he teaches writing. He is married to the poet Leigh Anne Couch, and they have two sons, Griff and Patch. Wilson continues to reside in Sewanee, Tennessee, where he draws inspiration for his writing from his surroundings and community. His latest novel, Now is Not the Time to Panic, was published in November of 2022.
