Kieran Kramer is a successful American author, well-known for her series of Regency romance novels and standalone books. She was born in Washington D.C. to a singer/actress mother and an Air Force pilot father. Raised on Johns Island of Charleston, South Carolina, Kieran developed a love for books from a young age. She has described herself as a former English teacher, journalist, and CIA employee from the South Carolina Lowcountry. After spending several years working in various fields, Kramer decided to retire and focus on her writing and family.\n \nKramer's first novel in the House of Brady series, "Loving Lady Marcia," was an Editor's Pick of the 2012 Library Journal Book Expo. She has also made the finals of the RITA award two times in her career. When she is not writing, Kieran enjoys singing karaoke, watching reality TV shows such as the Real Housewives franchises, and rescuing vulnerable dogs and cats. Kramer is also a naval officer's wife and has been married for over two decades.
In addition to her Regency romance novels, Kieran has also ventured into contemporary romance with a Southern flair for St. Martin's Press. She currently writes fun contemporary romance and lives in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, where she grew up.
