Kimberly Brown is a contemporary fiction author who was born and raised in South Carolina. She has a strong desire to create stories that readers can easily imagine in their minds as they turn the pages. Writing has been a significant part of her life for many years, with her love for words becoming more prominent during her high school years. With the support of her classmates, she began sharing her writing with others, which eventually led her to pursue a career in the industry.
In 2019, Kimberly took her first step towards becoming a serious writer by self-publishing her work. She made her BLP (Blood Line Publishing) debut in August 2021 with her novel "Pretty Caged Bird," and she continues to expand her catalog. Kimberly's writing covers a range of genres, including contemporary/urban romance, women's fiction, and erotica.
Kimberly holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from South Carolina State University and is pursuing a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. Incorporating mental health into her writings is important to her, as she believes it is not discussed or addressed enough within the African American community. By combining her personal experiences, education, and love of writing, Kimberly creates stories that resonate with readers and bring attention to important mental health issues.
