Kitty Sewell

Kitty Sewell is a successful author of mystery, thriller, suspense, and adult fiction novels. She was born in Sweden and spent her adolescent years in love with horses. However, her life took a dramatic turn when her parents sold their farm and moved to the Canary Islands, where she had to quickly learn German and Spanish. After that, her family moved again, this time to Canada, where Sewell attended law school and became a Notary Public. She also spent time hitchhiking around South America and working as a psychotherapist in Wales.

Sewell's career as an author began with the publication of her debut novel, Ice Trap, in 2005. The book became an international bestseller and was nominated for several prestigious awards, including the CWA New Blood Dagger Award. She has since written several successful standalone novels, including Bloodprint, The Fault, and Cloud Forever. In addition to her fiction work, Sewell has also written a nonfiction book in collaboration with author Raymond Thompson.

Despite holding dual citizenship in Canada and England, Sewell currently resides in Spain. She has had a variety of careers throughout her life, including being a psychotherapist, newspaper columnist, Notary Public, sculptor, and more. Sewell's writing is motivated by her personal experiences, and she uses her novels as a way to tell her stories. She is currently living on a fruit farm in the mountains of Granada, Spain, where she continues to write.
