Koa Beck

Koa Beck is an author and journalist whose work explores feminism, gender, LGBTQ rights, and cultural criticism. She is best known for her nonfiction book "White Feminism: From the Suffragettes to Influencers and Who They Leave Behind", published by Simon & Schuster in 2021. The book, praised by feminist icons like Gloria Steinem and Rebecca Traister, examines the limitations of mainstream feminism through historical and contemporary analysis. Beck's writing has also appeared in prominent outlets such as "The Atlantic", "The Guardian", "Vogue", and "Marie Claire", alongside short stories published in literary journals like "Slice" and "Apogee Journal".

With a distinguished editorial career, Beck served as editor-in-chief of "Jezebel" and executive editor of "Vogue.com", as well as senior features editor at "MarieClaire.com".
