Kristi Charish is a successful author of urban fantasy novels, residing in Vancouver, Canada. She has a BSc and MSc in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University and a PhD in Zoology from the University of British Columbia. Before becoming an author, Kristi worked as a research scientist, specializing in genetics, cell biology, and molecular biology. In addition to her Owl series, Kristi has also written a urban fantasy/mystery novel called THE VOODOO KILLINGS, which is about a voodoo practitioner living in Seattle with the ghost of a deceased grunge rocker.
