Kristin Hannah

Kristin Hannah is a bestselling and award-winning American author, born in Southern California in September 1960. She spent her childhood at the beach, surfing and building sandcastles. After turning eight, her family moved to western Washington, where she grew up and eventually graduated from Law school. Before becoming a full-time author, Hannah practiced Law in Seattle and worked in a stylish advertising organization.

Hannah has written more than twenty novels, including the international bestseller "The Nightingale," which won several awards, such as the Goodreads Best Historical Fiction novel for 2015 and the People's Choice award for best fiction in the same year. "The Nightingale" was also named a Best Book of the Year by Amazon, iTunes, Buzzfeed, the Wall Street Journal, Paste, and The Week.
