Kristy Cambron is a Christy Award-winning author who has made a name for herself in historical fiction, as well as nonfiction. She is known for her ability to weave together stories that intersect at the points of faith, history, and art. Her works have been highly acclaimed, including bestsellers like "The Butterfly and the Violin" and "The Paris Dressmaker." She also serves as Vice President and literary agent with Gardner Literary.
Cambron's writing has been featured in numerous publications, including Cosmopolitan, Publishers Weekly, and Country Woman Magazine. Before becoming an author, Cambron spent 15 years in education and leadership development for a Fortune 100 corporation. During that time, she worked with companies such as the Disney Institute, IBM/Kenexa, and Gallup. She holds a degree in Art History/Research Writing, which has undoubtedly contributed to her unique storytelling style.
Cambron is a self-proclaimed history nerd who enjoys research and exploring unique locations. She has gone behind the scenes at a Ringling Bros. Sarasota mansion, toured a former TB sanitarium, made friends with bees at a working honey farm, and embarked on back-roads jaunts across Ireland. She currently resides in Indiana with her husband and three basketball-loving sons. Cambron can likely be bribed with a peppermint mocha latte and a good book.
