Lauren Weisberger is an accomplished American author, best known for her women's fiction novels. She was born in Pennsylvania and was an active participant in various activities during her high school years. After graduating, Weisberger attended Cornell University, where she earned a BA in English. Post-college, she embarked on a backpacking trip across Europe and Asia before settling down in Manhattan.
In New York, Weisberger worked as the Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue and later at Departures, all the while honing her writing skills by taking classes in the evening. Her big break came when she wrote "The Devil Wears Prada," a novel that became a massive success and was later turned into a Hollywood movie. The book was published in forty languages and grossed over $300 million worldwide. Weisberger's other notable works include "Everyone Worth Knowing," "Last Night at Chateau Marmont," "Chasing Harry Winston," "Revenge Wears Prada," "The Singles Game," and "When Life Gives You Lululemons."
