Lawrence Watt-Evans

Lawrence Watt-Evans is a successful American author, born as Lawrence Watt Evans in Arlington, Massachusetts, in 1954. He is the fourth of six children in his family. Watt-Evans' passion for writing began at a young age, attempting his first professional piece at the age of eight. He graduated from Bedford High School and later attended Princeton University, although he did not obtain a degree.

Watt-Evans is a prolific writer, particularly in the fantasy, science fiction, high fantasy, and adult fiction genres. He has written several popular book series, including the Ethshar series, War Surplus series, Lords of Dus series, Obsidian Chronicles series, and The Annals of the Chosen series. In addition to writing under his legal name, Watt-Evans also uses the pen name Nathan Archer, primarily for his science fiction novels.
