Lee Weeks

Lee Weeks is a successful English author, well-known for her crime thriller novels. She was born in Devon, England, and is the youngest of three daughters in a Welsh family. Her father was a detective in the police force, and her mother was a nurse. However, after her mother became pregnant, she had to postpone her nursing training until Lee was nine years old.\n \n Weeks left school at the age of seventeen and embarked on a journey that took her to various parts of Europe and Southeast Asia. She eventually returned to England and settled in London, where she got married and had two children. Before becoming a full-time writer, Weeks worked as an English teacher and a personal trainer.

Weeks' writing is influenced by her life experiences, and some of her novels are based on her own life. After living in Sweden, France, Germany, and Hong Kong, she had several near-death experiences, including being held captive by triads in Hong Kong. These experiences have provided her with a wealth of material for her books.

As a successful author, Weeks has been recognized for her work, earning a spot on the Sunday Times bestseller list. She currently resides in Devon, where she continues to write her crime thriller novels, drawing on her life experiences to create captivating stories that keep readers on the edge of their seats.
