Leisha Kelly

Leisha Kelly was an accomplished American author, celebrated for her work in historical fiction. She was best known for her series, The Wortham Family series and the Country Road Chronicles series, both of which were well-received by readers and critics alike. Kelly's ability to create engaging and believable characters, combined with her deep knowledge of history, made her a beloved figure in the world of historical fiction.

Beyond her work as an author, Kelly was also a dedicated wife, mother, and member of her local community. She home-schooled her two children and served as the children's ministry director and youth minister at her family's church. Sadly, Kelly's life was cut short when she and her son, Justice, were killed in a traffic accident on January 25, 2011. Her loss was deeply felt by her family, friends, and readers, who mourned the passing of a talented and beloved author.
