Lev Grossman

Lev Grossman is a renowned American author, born in 1969 in Massachusetts to English professor parents. His upbringing led to an early love for reading, which he carried with him through his college and graduate school years. Eventually, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in writing full-time.

Grossman is best known for his Magicians Trilogy, a series of fantasy novels that subvert traditional magical tropes. The first book in the series, The Magicians, was a New York Times bestseller and was praised by notable authors such as George R.R. Martin, John Green, and Erin Morgenstern. The sequels, The Magician King and The Magician's Land, were also bestsellers and received critical acclaim.

In addition to his work as a novelist, Grossman spent 15 years as the lead technology writer and book critic for Time magazine.
