Lexi George is a well-known American author, particularly recognized for her work in the genres of young adult fantasy and paranormal romance. She has written a series of books centered around demon hunting, which includes popular titles such as "Demon Hunting in Dixie" and "So I Married a Demon Slayer." George was born and raised in South Alabama, where she spent her childhood in a humble rural community. Her father was a circuit judge who collected clocks, and her mother was an English teacher at a local high school.
George's upbringing in a rural area influenced her greatly, as she became a tomboy who enjoyed running barefoot, climbing trees, and playing in ditches. Her mother, an English teacher, instilled in her a love for reading and books from a young age, and George began writing poetry in the third grade. She continued to write throughout high school and college, but her writing was put on hold when she attended law school. After passing the Alabama state bar exam on her first attempt, George began working as an appellate attorney, a job that involves writing briefs and reading criminal transcripts.
In her free time, George enjoys escaping reality by reading and writing romance novels, her favorite genre. She is particularly known for her demon hunter series, which features sassy Southern heroines and hunky demon hunters. George has written five books in the series, as well as a novella, and is currently working on the sixth full-length demon hunter book, "Demon Hunting with a Southern Sheriff." She currently resides in a small town in Alabama, where she is ruled by her two spoiled felines, Sabrina and Sam.
